In response to reports that COVID-19 can live on surfaces several hours or more (National Health Institute), we have received questions from customers about using SeatShields on public transit and in waiting areas. While SeatShield was not designed for this purpose, we will do our best to answer questions you may have concerning SeatShield and the current pandemic.
-Does it stop the spread?- It has not been tested, but it is fully waterproof and is probably a good barrier against a contaminated surface.
-Does it fit an airplane seat? - Generally yes, but not the arm rests. We suggest a sanitizing wipe for those. You may have to tuck the pouch backing behind a headrest. Other customers have cut out a portion of the back pouch to not obstruct entertainment devices on the seat back.
-Are you still shipping?Yes, for now but we do foresee disruptions in the near future.
For those who must go out, please follow your local guidance and not make unnecessary travels.

Unlike other seat covers designed for long-term installation, you want a seat cover you that you can quickly and easily install on most public seats... especially public transit. SeatSheild requires no straps and you can easily install without touching your hand to the seat surface. Simply drape (or hook) the SeatShield's hood over the top of the seat.
Consider upgrading to an EliteSport which includes cling-coated under-layer for extra protection while keeping your SeatShield perfectly in place as you travel.
Most seat covers are inconvenient to install. However, ALL SEATSHIELDS are easy to install, remove, wash and reuse. Hang dry as needed. Then, roll or fold for storage until your next public outing.
