I owned the first version for several years. The extra width of the current product and the way that the rubber backing keeps it from slipping on my leather seats is a huge improvement.
The seatshield did all it was advertised as. I love the fact that it doesn't slide around on the seat. It is super soft and easy to sling over the head rest. Ever think about some type of pouch to store it in?? Folding it and trying to slip it back into the packaging is too time consuming and frustrating. I plan on coming up with something to store it in.
Excellent! Have been using them for years.
Upon opening the package I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material used and overall construction of the covers. I have a full size truck with a leather bench seat. These work awesome at keeping the dirt, dust, and general crud out of my truck that I bring in from the housing site that I run. It’s great how easily you can pull them out and shake them off and reinstall in about 2 minutes. I am constantly in and out of my truck throughout the day and these stay PUT. Half of the reason I wanted these was to protect the leather from wearing down over time due to getting in and out of the truck constantly for 5 days a week. They seem to excel at that job so far! The size of them is perfectly suited for a full size truck as well. They go over each side at least 3” and over the front at least 3” and can be tucked in to stay in place even better. I loved the first EliteSport protector I bought so much that I bought another for my passenger seat, and an UltraSport to protect my flip up center console. No drywall mud/dust or dog claws getting to my leather now!! Thanks SeatShield.
Wish I had these much earlier instead of trying to drape beach towels over my seat and headrest. They're perfect for after a sweaty run at the beach or on the trails. The seatbelt covers are a great add-on, well worth it. Nice length and width for my fancy sport bucket seats. The backing prevents any slippage getting in and out. Hoping the sticky backside holds up in the heat over the years...time will tell.
